Sobre o evento
The Brazil–China Crop Science Workshop: Digital Technologies and Omics Applied to Crop Production is an international scientific meeting to be held at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq)/University of São Paulo (USP), Piracicaba-SP in March 2026. The event aims to strengthen scientific cooperation between Brazilian and Chinese institutions in crop science, focusing on the integration of omics technologies, gene editing, and digital agriculture tools to improve maize and soybean production systems. Organized by Esalq/USP with the participation of STAC (Sustainable Tropical Agriculture Center)/USP, APTA (Diretoria de Pesquisa dos Agronegócios/SAA/SP), Embrapa and CAU (China Agricultural University), the workshop will promote active exchange among graduate students, early-career researchers, and senior scientists, offering lectures, discussions, and student presentations. It will also build upon ongoing bilateral thematic projects between USP and CAU, fostering continuity and institutional collaboration.
